TOWN OF COON BOARD OF SUPERVISORS MEETING
JULY 17, 2007
Town of Coon Board of Supervisors met at the Coon Town Hall on July 17, 2007 at 7:30 p.m.
Present: Orlan Bakkum, chairman; Craig Storm and Leon Minor , supervisors, Janice L Ihle, treasurer, Lorraine Bakkestuen, clerk and Dale Haugrud, patrolman.
Chairman, Orlan Bakkum opened the meeting.
Moved by Leon, seconded by Craig to approve the minutes of the previous regular board meeting as typewritten. All aye. Motion carried.

Moved by Craig, seconded by Leon to accept the treasurer`s report. All aye. Motion carried.
The town board approved of the purchase of a fire proof file for the town treasurer.
Orlan reported that the new crew van for the fire department had arrived.
A discussion was held on the future needs of the fire station building.
The clerk was instructed to notify Rick Jannick of his non-compliance of a building permit.
Smart Growth: Orlan had sent a copy of the comprehensive plan to the state for approval.
It was reported that Vernon County had passed the new fire numbering system.
The parties involved in the Rudie property dispute would be settled between them. They would be instructed to send Orlan Bakkum, Town of Coon Chairman a copy of the written proof of a property transfer agreement.
The next regular Town of Coon Board of Supervisors meeting will be held at the Coon Town Hall on August 14, 2007 at 7:30 p.m.
The rental property held by the Town of Coon will be vacant soon. A special meeting will be held following the budget hearing in November to discuss what should be done with the property.
Moved by Leon, seconded by Craig to adjourn the meeting. All aye. Motion carried.
