MINUTES OF TOWN OF COON BOARD OF SUPERVISORS MEETING
MARCH 13, 2007
The Town of Coon Board of Supervisors met at the Coon Town Hall on Tuesday, March 13, 2007 at 1:00 p.m.
Present: Orlan Bakkum, chairman; Craig Storm and Leon Minor, supervisors Lorraine Bakkestuen, clerk; Janice L Ihle, treasurer; Dale Haugrud, patrolman and Marc Peterson patrolman`s helper.
Call to order by chairman, Orlan Bakkum.
Moved by Leon and seconded by Craig to approve the minutes of the previous regular board meeting. All aye. Motion carried.
Treasurer report: Previous income......................................674,078.63

Moved to accept treasurer`s report by Leon, seconded by Craig. All aye. Motion carried.
Moved by Leon, seconded by Craig to pay all claims. All aye. Motion carried.
Smart Growth: Orlan had been working on comprehensive plan. Several items were addressed.
Variances would be needed to be obtained by those building within 2500 feet of landfill sites as of April 1, 2007.
Sand and salt structure: The town board would open bids on Saturday, March 17, 2007 at 10:00 a.m.
Towns Association District meeting had been attended by Leon Minor and Janice L Ihle.
A discussion was held on wind generators.
Orlan Bakkum had attended an Emergency Government meeting.
The next regular Town of Coon Board of Supervisors meeting was set for April 10, 2007 at the Coon Town Hall at 1:00 p.m.
April 21 and April 22 was set for Town of Coon large item cleanup days at the Town of Coon Collection Site.
Moved by Craig, seconded by Leon to raise the amount of mileage reimbursement to $.45 per mile. All aye. Motion carried.
Moved by Leon, seconded by Craig to accept Scott Construction sealcoating contract. All aye. Motion carried.
Moved by Leon, seconded by Craig to renew contract with The Kraemer Company. All aye. Motion carried.
Motion to adjourn made by Craig, seconded by Leon. All aye. Motion carried.
