MINUTES OF TOWN OF COON BOARD OF SUPERVISORS MEETING
DECEMBER 12, 2006
The Town of Coon Board of Supervisors met at the Coon Town Hall on December 12, 2006 at 1:00 p.m.
Present: Chairman, Orlan Bakkum, supervisors, Craig Storm and Leon Minor, treasurer, Janice L Ihle; clerk, Lorraine Bakkestuen ; Dale Haugrud, patrolman and patrolman`s helper, Marc Peterson.
Chairman, Orlan Bakkum opened the meeting.
The printer for the clerk was not in operation so minutes of the November meeting are delayed until the next meeting.

Moved by Craig, seconded by Leon to accept the treasurer`s report. All aye. Motion carried.
Sand and salt report: down 10 yards of sand and salt.
Clerk to send bill to Frederick Simunovic, S4633 Cty S, Virouqua, WI for accident fire call.
Orlan reported that all present officers of the Coon Creek Fire Association retained their offices.
New fire number for Troy Morey was issued. S555 Stakson Ln
Sand and salt structure: It was suggested to have 3-way bids: one for structure, one for pavement and one for blacktop. Having a general contract would raise the cost of the project. Bids would be available for the April 10, 2006 annual meeting.
No comment had been received on the raise of amount of rent on the Town of Coon rental property.
The next regular Town of Coon Board of Supervisors meeting and annual audit will be held on January 9, 2007 at the Coon Town Hall.
Motion made by Leon, seconded by Craig to accept the clerk`s list of election poll workers for the year 2007. All aye. Motion carried.
The Town Board set the date for the Town of Coon Caucus to place in nomination candidates for the April Election of Town Officers for January 20, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. If the weather does not allow the caucus to be held on the 20th it will be held on January 27, 2007 at 10:00 a.m.
Moved by Leon, seconded by Craig to approve building inspector contract with Vincent Schmitz. All aye. Motion carried
