MINUTES OF TOWN OF COON BOARD OF SUPERVISORS MEETING
DECEMBER 13, 2005
The regular monthly meeting of the Town of Coon Board of Supervisors was held at the Coon Town Hall on Tuesday, December 13, 2005 at the Coon Town Hall.
Present: Orlan Bakkum, chairman; Craig Storm and Leon Minor, supervisors; Jan L Ihle, treasurer and Dale Haugrud, patrolman.
Chairman, Orlan Bakkum opened the meeting.
Moved by Leon, seconded by Craig to approve the printed minutes of the previous regular Town of Coon Board of Supervisors meeting. All aye. Motion carried.

Moved by Leon, seconded by Craig to accept the treasurer` report. All aye. Motion carried.
Moved by Leon, seconded by Craig to pay all claims except Fabco which was to be held until next meeting. All aye. Motion carried.
Two fire calls noted. Jon Holen, silo fire and Kalen Chaput-car accident call. Clerk to bill same. and pay the Fire Association.
The Fire Association was talking about buying a new truck.
Smart Growth should be done by June of 2006. Orlan wanted to talk to Bill Burke so that he would have a better understanding of what would be included in the final draft.
The next regular Town of Coon Board of Supervisors meeting will be held on Thursday, January 12, 2006 at the Coon Town Hall.
Moved by Leon, seconded by Craig to trade the 1971 truck for a 1992 truck from La Farge Truck Center. All aye. Motion carried. Clerk to write a check for $12,500 to La Farge Truck Center and supply the title for the 1971 truck.
Leon will be attending a meeting to be held on Tuesday, December 20 at 6:30 p.m. on Communications Interoperability. All local units of government would be on the same --Fire, EMS, Law Enforcement, County, Townships, Villages and Cities.
Moved by Craig, seconded by Leon to approve the contract with Vince Schmitz for 2006 for building inspection. All aye. Motion carried.
Moved by Leon, seconded by Craig to adjourn the meeting. All aye. Motion carried.
