MINUTES OF THE TOWN OF COON BOARD OF SUPERVISORS MEETING
MAY 10, 2005
The regular meeting of the Town of Coon Board of Supervisors was held at the Coon Town Hall on May 10, 2005 at 7:30 p.m.
Present: Orlan Bakkum, chairman; Craig Storm and Leon Minor supervisors; Jan L Ihle, treasurer, Lorraine Bakkestuen, clerk and Dale Haugrud, patrolman.
Chairman, Orlan Bakkum opened the meeting.
Minutes of the April 12, 2005 regular board of supervisors meeting will be read at the next regular board meeting.

Moved by Leon, seconded by Craig to accept the treasurer`s report. All aye. Motion carried.
Moved by Leon, seconded by Craig to pay all claims. All aye. Motion carried.
Sand and salt report the same as last month.
One fire call had been received: Elmer Ofte fire call. Clerk to send bill for same.
Fire numbers had been issued to Dennis & Judy Larson and John Hanson.
Dennis Larson: S1376 Cty Rd B---John Hanson: E6762 Hansen Ln
Orlan also stated that the clerk should send building permit application forms for the Town of Coon to Dennis & Judy Larson and John Hanson. The Town of Coon needs them to control road access permits, etc.
No word had been received on the arrival of the new loader.
Town Insurance Coverage: Orlan had sent required items to be covered under the Town of Coon Insurance coverage.to Rural Insurance and Mark Anderson. Insurance bids should be received by May 31, 2005 and bids will be opened on June 2, 2005 at 7:30 p.m.
Leon thought the township should purchase a digital camera to record any problems that may arise. Orlan would consult with others in order to obtain the best one for town purposes.
The Town of Coon Board of Review will meet on May 25, 2005 at 7:30 p.m. and adjourn until October 19, 2005 -time and place to be published.
Due to the discrepancy on income from recyclables to the cost of recycling the cost of recycling will be brought up at the budget hearing in 2005.
The next regulr Town of Coon Board of Supervisors meeting will be held on June 14, 2005 at 7:30 p.m. at the Coon Town Hall.
The clerk to send $25.00 dues to the Vernon County Towns Association.
The assessors have begun reassessing in the Town of Coon and will require about 6 weeks to complete.
