MINUTES OF TOWN OF COON BOARD OF SUPERVISORS MEETING
JULY 14, 2009
The regular Town of Coon Board of Supervisors meeting was held at the Coon Town Hall on July 14, 2009 at 7:30 p.m.
Present : Orlan Bakkum, chairman; Craig Storm and Leon Minor, supervisors; Janice L Ihle, treasuer; Lorraine Bakkestuen, clerk and Dale Haugrud, patrolman. Opening of the meeting was delayed for Orlan`s attendance at the Village of Coon Valley board meeting.
Motion made by Craig, seconded by Leon to approve the minutes of the June board meeting. All aye. Motion carried.

Motion to accept the treasurer`s report made by Craig, seconded by Leon. All aye. Motion carried.
Motion to pay all claims made by Leon, seconded by Craig. All aye. Motion carried.
Orlan had attended the Village of Coon Valley board meeting. The Village will sell a parcel of land measuring 150 feet by 85 feet to the Fire Association. The Village would request a down payment of $3000 non-refundable. An appraisal would be needed and title search made.Orlan would bring this proposal to the Fire Association.
Smart Growth; The zoning committee and Plan Commission of the Town of Coon passed a resolution recommending to the Town of Coon Board of Supervisors to adopt the Town of Coon Comprehensive Plan.
Motion made by Leon, seconded by Craig an Ordinance adopting the Comprehensive Plan for the Town of Coon, Wisconsin. The ordinance would be published and posted as required by law to take effect.
A fire number would be issued to Dave Vitrano for the DNR.
The next regular Town of Coon Board of Supervisors meeting will be held at the Coon Town Hall on August 11, 2009 at 7:30 p.m. at the Coon Town Hall.
An individual had dumped garbage over the fence at the collection site. It was recommended that the collection site attendant notify Leon Minor when he was being hasseled by anyone.
Clerk made copies of the U. S. Cellular notice of change name change rider for bonds for telecommunication site.
Motion to adjourn the meeting made by Leon, seconded by Craig. All aye. Motion carried.
