MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING

RANDY LETTERLY VARIANCE REQUEST


JUNE 9, 2009


A public hearing on the request for a property line variance by Randy Letterly so that he could build on to his present home at E6857 Spring Coulee Rd was held at 7:30 p.m.

Part of the NE SE of Section 24.


Present: Orlan Bakkum, chairman; Craig Storm and Leon Minor, supervisors; Janice L Ihle, treasurer; Lorraine Bakkestuen, clerk; Pat Sterling and Dan and Sue Steele.


Randy Letterly`s lawyer, George Hopkins was present for the hearing. No objections were made and the hearing was closed.


The Zoning Committee had recommended approval of the variance request.

PATRICIA STERLING REZONING REQUEST


JUNE 9, 2009


A public hearing was held on June 9, 2009 at 8:45 p.m. at the Coon Town Hall on Pat Sterling`s request for rezoning of her property. Parcel A-13.69 acres and Parcel B-27.58 acres


Present: Orlan Bakkum, chairman; Craig Storm and Leon Minor, supervisors; Janice L Ihe, treasurer; Lorraine Bakkestuen, clerk; Pat Sterling, Dan and Sue Steele ,and George Hopkins, lawyer for Randy Letterly.


No objections to the request for rezoning of two parcels of property from Agriculture to Resitdential were made.


The Zoning Committee had approved the request for rezoning.


The public hearing was closed at 7:40 p.m.

MINUTES OF TOWN OF COON BOARD OF SUPERVISORS MEETING

JUNE 9, 2009


The Town of Coon Board of Supervisors met at the Coon Town Hall on June 9, 2009 at 8:00 p.m.


Present: Orlan Bakkum, chairman; Craig Storm, supervisors; Janice L Ihle, treasurer; Lorraine Bakkestuen, clerk and Dale Haugrud, patrolman. Also present were: Pat Sterling and Randy Letterly`s lawyer, George Hopkins and Dan and Sue Steele.


Minutes of previous regular Town of Coon Board of Supervisors meeting were approved by a motion made by Craig Storm, seconded by Leon Minor. All aye. Motion carried.

Motion to accept treasurer`s report made by Leon, seconded by Craig. All aye. Motion carried.

 

Motion made by Craig, seconded by Leon to approve the variance request made Randy Letterly. All aye. Motion carried.


Motion made by Leon, seconded by Craig to approve the rezoning request made by Pat Sterling All aye. Motion carried.


Motion made by Leon, seconded by Craig to pay all claims. All aye. Motion carried.


Sand and salt report remains the same.


No building site permits issued.


Fire Association: The Village of Coon Valley board would be considering selling to the Fire Association 150 square feet of land. A site assessment and survey would have to be done. A mutual aid agreement with Town of Shelby is planned.


Orlan had not heard back from Peter Herried from the Dept. of Administration. The zoning and planning committee on the Comprehensive Plan would meet the last part of June to have a resolution to adopt the Comprehensive Plan as presented followed by the adoption by town ordinance at the July meeting of the town board.


No new fire numbers had been issued.


Motion made by Craig, seconded by Leon to change the Town of Coon Building Permit to Town of Coon Building Site Permit.


Orlan completed the Certified Survey Map Review Map Questionaire issued by County Register of Deeds, Konna Spaeth


The next regular Town of Coon Board of Supervisor meeting will be held at the Coon Town Hall on Tuesday, July 14, 2009 at 7:30 p.m.


Moved by Craig, seconded by Leon to adjourn the meeting. All aye. Motion carried.
