MINUTES OF TOWN OF COON BOARD OF SUPERVISORS MEETING
MAY 11, 2009
Town of Coon Board of Supervisor met at the Coon Town Hall on May 11, 2009 at 7:30 p.m.
Members present: Orlan Bakkum, chairman; Craig Storm and Leon Minor, supervisors; Janice L Ihle, treasurer; Lorraine Bakkestuen, clerk and Dale Haugrud, patrolman.
Motion to approve minutes of previous Town of Coon Board of Supervisors meeting made by Leon, seconded by Craig. All aye. Motion carried.

Motion to accept the treasurer`s report by Craig, seconded by Leon. All aye. Motion carried.
Motion to pay all claims made by Leon, seconded by Craig. All aye. Motion carried.
Sand & salt report the same as last month.
Fire Association: Property committee to evaluate fire station needs. Discussion on the Fire Association intent to purchase fire station and build addition.
Smart Growth: Public Hearing on Comprehensive Plan to be held on May 27, 2009 at 7:30 p.m. at the Coon Town Hall.
No new fire numbers
Building permit for Brian Dayton issued
The new Zoning Administrator is Ned Barstad. Charles Schmidt moved from alternate to position previously held by Ned Barstad. Craig Dunnum suggested as an alternate to replace Charles Schmidt.
Pat Sterling wants to rezone part of her property from Ag land to residential. Public Hearing will be scheduled.
A public hearing for Randy Letterly request for variance on his propety to be held on June 9, 2009 at 7:30 p.m. Regular Town of Coon Board of Supervisors meeting will be held following the public hearing.
Recycling had brought in $653.
Motion to adjourn made by Craig, seconded by Leon. All aye. Motion carried.

Town of Coon Board of Review was held at the Coon Town Hall on May, 13, 2009 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Present: Orlan Bakkum, chairman; Craig Storm and Leon Minor, supervisors; Janice L Ihle, treasurer as alternate on the board of review and Jerry Kins, assess from Chimney Rock Appraisal.
