MINUTES OF TOWN OF COON BOARD OF SUPERVISORS MEETING
JULY 8, 2008
The Town of Coon Board of Supervisors met at the Coon Town Hall on Tuesday, July 8, 2008 at 7:30 p.m.
Present: Orlan Bakkum, chairman; Craig Storm and Leon Minor, supervisors; Jan L Ihle, treasurer; Lorraine Bakkestuen, clerk and Dale Haugrud, patrolman.
Chairman, Orlan Bakkum opened the meeting.
Moved by Leon, seconded by Craig to approve the minutes as printed of the previous regular Town of Coon Board of Supervisors meeting. All aye. Motion carried.
Treasurer`s report: Previous income.............................................944,017.39

Moved by Craig, seconded by Leon to accept the treasurer`s report. All aye. Motion carried.
Moved by Craig, seconded by Leon to pay all claims except Scott Construction bill. All aye. Motion carried.
No fire calls had been received.
Nothing more had been done on Smart Growth
The sealcoating for 2008 had been done.
The Vernon County Livestock Siting ordinance does not apply to the Town of Coon at the present time. No one has 500 animal units.
Work is still being done on Dodson Hollow bridge area.
Johnson and Rudie boundary disputes had not been resolved.
Leon had attended a FEMA meeting. The individual in charge wanted to issue permits for projects to be done.
The next regular Town of Coon Board of Supervisors meeting will be held at the Coon Town Hall on Tuesday, August 12, 2008 at 7:30 p.m.
Moved by Leon, seconded by Craig to raise the mileage rate from 45 cents per mile to 50 cents per mile due to the high price of gasoline. All aye. Motion carried.
Motion to adjourn made by Leon, seconded by Craig. All aye. Motion carried.
